Valencia Systems LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and our mobile applications. Where an application has practices specific to it, they are described in its own section below.

This Website

Our website is a static informational site. We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising technology. We do not collect personal information through this site. If you contact us by email, we use your email address and message solely to respond to you.

Guessdown: Game Night Trivia

Guessdown is published by Valencia Systems. This policy explains what information the app handles. The short version: Guessdown has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Data leaves your device in only three situations: when you make an in-app purchase, when the app checks for updates, and when you choose to send us feedback about an answer.

Information we do not collect

• No account or sign-in exists, so we never collect names, email addresses, or passwords.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
• We do not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or any other device sensors or personal files.
• We do not sell or share your information with anyone for advertising or marketing.

Information stored only on your device

The app saves the following locally on your device so the game works between sessions. This data is never transmitted to us:

• Player names you type in for party mode, and their scores.
• Which cards you have already played, and your Card of the Day results.
• A cached record of which decks you have unlocked.
• A randomly generated installation ID (see "Answer feedback" below). It is not derived from your device hardware or any account, and it changes if you reinstall the app.

You can erase game progress at any time with "Reset all card memory" in Settings, or remove everything by uninstalling the app.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and by our purchase-management provider, RevenueCat. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives an anonymous randomly generated app user ID and your purchase history for this app. This is used solely to deliver and restore the content you bought; it is not linked to your identity by us and is never used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details. Apple and Google also process your payment under their own privacy policies; we never see your payment details.

App updates

Guessdown can download bug fixes and content corrections without a full app-store update. To do this, the app contacts Expo's EAS Update service when it launches. That request includes your platform (iOS or Android), the app version, a randomly generated installation identifier used to deliver updates consistently, and, only if the previous launch of the app crashed, a short description of that error so the update can be rolled back. It does not include your name, location, or anything you have typed in the app. See Expo's privacy policy for details on how Expo handles this data.

Answer feedback

After each solo-mode question you can tap a button to tell us about a card you think is wrong. This is entirely optional. If you send a report, we receive:

• The card in question (deck, card number, and its listed answer), and the answer you typed.
• Whether the app marked you correct, and how many clues you had seen.
• Any comment you chose to write.
• The app version, your platform (iOS or Android), and the random installation ID mentioned above, which we use only to prevent abuse and to group reports from the same install.

Reports are stored on infrastructure we operate on Cloudflare, which processes your device's IP address as part of delivering the request under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We use reports for one purpose: to review and fix card answers. We do not use them for advertising, profiling, or tracking, and we do not share them with anyone.

Please do not include personal information (such as your name or email address) in a report comment. If you would like a reply, contact us directly at the email below instead.

Data retention and deletion

• Local game data is deleted when you uninstall the app.
• Purchase records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat follow their respective retention policies.
• Update-service data held by Expo follows Expo's retention policy.
• Answer feedback reports are kept until we have reviewed and resolved them, and are deleted no later than 12 months. To request earlier deletion of a report you sent, email us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

Our applications and website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If our practices change (e.g., when we launch new applications), we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes to an application's data practices will also be described in that application's store listing.
